Fiber is SEXY!

OK OK, we all know sex sells, and talking about fiber doesn’t seem like such a sexy topic, but let me show you ways that fiber will not only make you feel sexy, improve your sex drive, and make you feel like an absolute GODDESS!

Does fiber and sex really have anything to do with one another?  You will be very surprised to learn that fiber can impact your sex life and potentially make you sexier!

Let’s start with the fact that the bloated look and uncomfortable feeling you get from a lack of fiber in your diet is not sexy!  Do you often experience brain fog, gas, bloating and cramping, especially after you eat a heavy meal?  Yeah, I’ve been there.  I know that feeling where you just want to put on bagging sweat pants and just go to bed because I’m too full and bloated to even think about being sexy!

So then I started realizing that when my boyfriend and I would go on a romantic date night at our favorite steak house and fill up on steak, baked potato, and even desert, we would go home feeling stuffed, bloated and gassy!  NOT SEXY!  So we totally blew our “date night”!  We said “NO MORE”. We love having fun and we put our relationship as a priority and especially when we have our date nights, so we knew that coming home feeling stuffed was not something we needed!

What did we change?  We exchanged heavy meats, low fiber foods and sugar, to healthy high fiber foods.  And VOILA, we not only lost weight, our libido increased and we just felt overall sexier and lighter!

So what do you need, women need at least 21-25 grams of fiber and men need 30-38 grams every day!

Here is my top Good Fiber Foods!

ORGANIC STRAWBERRIES AND RASPBERRIES,  packed with fiber, they increase HDL (good)cholesterol, lower blood pressure, and guard against cancer.  Also packed with vitamins, and high levels of antioxidants known as polyphenols! Seeds of both these are loaded with zinc, which is very essential for sex in women and men. High levels of zinc in women help them to prepare for sex and in men zinc controls testosterone level, which is responsible for sperm production and overall sexual stamina. And what is sexier than strawberries dipped in a little dark chocolate which improves blood flow!

AVOCADOS, excellent source of fiber. This fruit is considered to be the best for your sexual drive. Avocados contain folic acid and vitamin B6, both are necessary for a healthy sex drive. Folic acid gives the body energy and vitamin B6 stabilizes hormones. 1 cup of avocado is almost 10 grams of fiber! And I bet you didn’t know, avocados happen to be a legendary aphrodisiac!  YUMMY!

ALMONDS, rich in arginine, which is responsible for improving circulation and relaxes blood vessels. Also amino acid helps your man maintain an erection.

More fiber rich foods include, PEARS (SKIN ON), QUINOA, OATMEAL, CARROTS, LENTILS, BLACK BEANS, and CHIA SEED

The right diet may lower body weight and increase sex drive.  Less strain on your gut will lead to happier organs and promote vitality.  Keep in mind that an optimal BMI can improve sex drive and sexual health.  Please do your body good and eat plenty of fiber!
